It was about 2 years ago, when Dauwd first appeared with the "What's there" 12". Despite this being his first and only physical release, he has drawn a lot of attention, especially with his DJ sets. I, myself, had the honor to see him perform on last year's Dockville Festival. Of course, it is all about the music (and his deep sounds were class A), but the fact, that he was spinning real vinyl, also added him a few extra points on my list.

Dauwd finally released some new stuff, an EP called "Heat Division" on a joint collaboration between Ghostly International and Pictures Music. The vinyl will only be ready in March. However, if you preorder it, you get an instant download of the EP, right away.

Very warm, funky house tunes from Office Recording's latest offering "What about Talk about #2".

It is not very often, that Billy Palmier releases a new track. But when he does, you can be sure, it has this certain relaxed boogie flavor. His 10" EP "Sure Shot" was in the true sense of the word brilliant. And when I hear, that a new EP is planned for this spring, I can't hide my anticipation.
