Zugegebenermaßen etwas spät dran, aber feiern dauert halt auch gerne mal ein ganzes Wochenende.

Am Samstag fand der alljährliche Campus Radio Tag in Köln statt. Neben zahlreichen Workshops zu Themen wie Musik-Auswahl, Moderation u.v.m. wurden auch wieder Gewinner in verschiedenen Kategorien geehrt. Darunter befand sich auch "Love is the Icon" in der Kategorie "Kreative Programmidee".

Die Begründung der Jury:
"Braucht das Campusradio eine Erotiksendung? Auf jeden Fall, wenn sie so gemacht ist wie 'Love is the Icon'. Alper Kurtoglu, Lennart Rehren und Denis Sepoetro glänzen in ihren Rollen als Testosteron-duchtränkte Stimmschmeichler. Ihre Musikauswahl lässt keine noch so geheimen Wünsche offen. So tauchen sie das Radio in ein ganz ungewöhnliches Licht, schummrig und rot, ohne jemals geschmacklos zu werden.
Zwischen Nonsens und Sinnlichkeit entsteht eine atmosphärisch dichte Sendung, die ienfach Spaß macht - den Machern und den Hörern. Solche Experimente sind eine Stärke des Campusradios - und deshalb eine Auszeichnung wert."

Aber das ist nicht alles. Henning Festersen hat ebenfalls in der Kategorie "Moderation" abgeräumt. Somit sahnte das Hochschulradio Aachen gleich 2 von 6 Preisen ein.
