BQ:Ram caught my attention for the first time with their fabolous and diverse album "Blue Sand City" with the extra jazzy track "Classy (feat. El Da Sensei)". The Italian producer duo is now back with the "The Day Before I Loved You" EP, which is a small collection of hip-hop beats with some minor electronic influences. The electronic synthesizer are merely to be seen as delicate accentuations, the tracks still conserve a warm feeling. Whereas "Fog Sparks Glances" is a nice downtempo track, "Dunes (feat. Milly)" is as smooth as Andrea Pirlo's penalty kick against England and features some rap in Italian.

Get it via bandcamp for some small money.

Und wo wir gerade in der letzten Sendung ein Mixtape gehört haben - ich persönliche stehe total auf Mixtapes (vor allem meine eigenen!) - stolpere ich erneut zufällig während des Lernens für die Morgen früh anstehende Klausur über dieses grandiose Set von Morse Code. Mir persönlich gefällt es sehr gut!

Und dazu sei gesagt: mich erinnert der Sound an irgendwas sehr familiäres... Was war... Ach genau, ich hab's: Diggin'!

Endlich ist es wieder Zeit für eine weitere Ausgabe unserer Sendung "Diggin' Late Night". Bei all dem Fußball-Stress und Autokorso-Gehupe in den vergangen Tagen, kommt nicht nur die Turnierspiel-Pause ganz gut, sondern vor allem auch die dazugehörige musikalische Untermalung eines entspannten Abends.
